1985-1990: I became a Tech (roadie) for various recording artists that takes me revolving around UK/Europe. Artists include Hanoi Rocks, Kiss, AC/DC, Rush, Whitesnake & many other rock acts. I started to learn how to become a DJ & Promote some live local UK shows. Start ‘Trash Can’ fanzine & interview & photograph artists on tour!

1990-2000: I was asked to be DJ/Promoter at the Cotton Club in my hometown of Wrexham. I also promote/dj at The Fridge in Shrewsbury and Civic Centre in Whitchurch. An invitation from former Radio One DJ Janice Long to present an Alternative show on Crash 106:6 FM (RSL), in Liverpool. Get involved with local I.L.R. station M.F.M103:4. Travel to concerts & interview acts including Bon Jovi, Metallica, The Black Crowes, Jimmy Page, The Verve, Blur and Oasis. 1994: I join  Cashnext Ltd to work as a DJ in three clubs, The Krazyhouse in Liverpool, The Tivoli in Buckley, and The Stage in Stoke (now The Sugar Mill). I contribute as writer for “Rock & Roll Babylon” and F.M / BAM (North West).

Cashnext presents the “Big Top Tour” in Sefton Park Liverpool, Coopers Field, Cardiff & Bangor Park! In addition, Korn, Ocean Colour Scene, Stereophonics, Moby, Feeder & more play live in the three clubs. I undertake a G.N.V.Q. Course in Performing Arts at Yale College, Wrexham and pass with merit and get involved with the Yale College Radio Station. Crash FM wins FM licence (Spring 2008) I present a weekly show (Crash Re-brands as 107:6 Juice FM). I complete Core II of the Radio course at The Radio School with ex Radio 1 presenters / producers Neale James & Bruno Brooks. I become more active taking a paid part-time position on the role of Station Manager / Head of Music delivering an OCN (Open College Network) Diploma in Radio. The Tivoli is sold. I leave to become Dj/Promoter at a new venue called Central Station in Wrexham. I fly out to New York to DJ in two of the biggest rock clubs.

2000-2010: I exit Central Station. I help set up & contribute interviews and reviews as Contributing Editor to online magazine:  In August I join up with N.E.W.I. University to start to produce Radio Sessions in a new studio. I also become ‘Features Editor’ of the NEWI Student magazine. I start up my own PR Company ‘21c MPR’ which handles all PR for concerts at the William Aston Hall plus recording artists Mike Peters|The Alarm, The Frames, Gene Loves Jezebel. Alongside some of North Wales|West rising sons. Wrexham FM broadcasts its first ever RSL from the studios at Newi. I become the ‘Night time Head of Music’ and head up sponsorship and promotions (S&P).

I am approached by the owner of The Krazyhouse to leave Yale and become full time ‘S&P’ person for the Venue / Club; I take a more “hands on” role taking hold of all the club promotional duties and co-ordinating the marketing of the clubs within the media. Another RSL, Wrexham FM becomes ‘Calon FM’ & gets a full time community radio licence. I produce and present shows: Newi rebrands as Glyndwr University. I become a contributing editor of buRn magazine. I become a Personal Licence Holder. I produce a twice weekly Alternative radio show ‘The A-Train’ on Liverpool’s 107:6 Juice fm. Nov 2007: I leave my daytime position (promoter / marketing) at Liverpool’s Krazyhouse. I remain as a resident Dj & promote my own nights… The new ‘Artist Lounge’ @ The Krazyhouse opens

2010 – 2018: Start up ‘Dark Hollow Ltd’ a portal for ‘Digital Publishing’ Return to produce / present weekend shows at Calon FM, Shakenstir online gets re-brand and Burn magazine launches digitally. Darkhollow Produces Digital ‘Planet Rock’ magazine. We present a showcase live event from Wrexham broadcast across ALL community radio stations in Wales, alongside ‘Aerial Sessions’ recorded for both audio & visual use at Aerial Studios with ‘Emerging’ UK talent. The Krazyhouse is sold & closed! I exit after 25yrs.. I start a new club night, record label & digital magazine! The ongoing freelance triangle of Radio / Zine / Club continues xXx
