Manchester legends James have released the stunning video to “All I’m Saying”, the latest single to be taken from the critically acclaimed album ‘La Petite Mort’. The beguiling visuals feature the considerable talents of Péter Vácz, the Hungarian stop motion animator whose previous credits include the award-winning film Rabbit And Deer.
After a successful year the band also make a welcome return to the live arena performing a full UK tour with special guests Starsailor. Kicking off in Oxford on the 10th November (after a warm-up show in Stirling on the 8th), and taking in shows across the UK, James play two London shows, Royal Albert Hall November 19th and Brixton Academy a few days later on the 21st. James are behind some of the biggest hits of the last 30 years and have sold over 12 million albums worldwide. Their new album ‘La Petite Mort’ is out June 2nd, bringing with it more hits to add to the collection. Highlights include BBC 6 music favourite ‘Frozen Britain’ and ‘Moving On’, with its stunning animated video by BAFTA winner Ainslie Henderson.
Lead singer Tim Booth says, “We feel we’ve made one of our strongest albums in La Petite Mort and are “dying” to reveal our live take on it to you on this tour along with a few other familiar faces. In James tradition we are very happy to have a great opening act in Starsailor – so come early, put on your glad rags and make a great night of it; we will be.”
James will be joined on all dates by Wigan favourites Starsailor. Their career has spanned more than a decade and saw the band release two top 10 albums, including ‘Love is Here’ and ‘Silence is Easy’ as well as a third album ‘All The Plans’ in 2008. “We are really excited and honoured that James have asked us to support them on their forthcoming tour,” says Starsailor’s James Walsh, “We have been on hiatus for a number of years now so it’s great to return to the live arena alongside such an iconic band.”
