mind museum2MIND MUSEUM announce release of new EP ‘One Blood’ with accompanying video; news of label signing

Seasoned alternative rockers Mind Museum are proud to announce the release of their new EP ‘One Blood’ on March 31st, in conjunction with their recent signing to Secret Chord Records. Ahead of the album, Mind Museum have released the eponymous single and accompanying video. Shot and edited by the band’s own guitarist, ‘One Blood’ is the perfect introduction to the band’s anthemic post-punk-tinged alt-rock sound.

The Bristol-based band are no strangers to the alt-rock scene, having formed out of the ashes of several other bands, including I Am The Door. Active since 2010, Mind Museum have toiled at creating an atmosphere entirely unique to themselves: probing guitar rhythms and poignant engaging vocals meet a polished and honed sound that still manages that element of rawness, perfectly conveyed by Justin Percival’s vocals.

Citing influences from Biffy Clyro, Coheed and Cambria, to The Cure and Placebo, ‘One Blood’ is an soaring and uplifting release, a gratifying union of intelligent songwriting and heartfelt musicality. A band with a long touring history, Mind Museum have supported both Young Guns and Twin Atlantic, building a loyal fanbase along the way. At each stage, the band move up the ladder a little further, and ‘One Blood’ is just the next step in what will prove to be a long and successful history for this highly accomplished trio.
