Louder Than Words: Music & Speech!

ltw1Louder Than War is to to launch a music and literary event in Manchester over the weekend of November 15/17 key musicians and music writers will discuss their work, make music and no doubt do everything else!

Louder Than Words opening party is Friday 15th November. John Robb’s late night music quiz sets the scene, the pace and the atmosphere for this great inaugural event.

Saturday is a packed day of Festival events and informal opportunities for conversation. Contributors include Barney Hoskyns, Zoe Howe, Mark Radcliffe and Mick Middles. Lyrics, poetry and writing workshops will provide practical support and advice to aspiring authors and our surgery series, including legal advice from our partners Ward Hadaway, will also be up and running. Events continue throughout Sunday including contributions from John Osborne, Clinton Heylin and Simon Warner. Results of the Louder Than Words inaugural writing competition will also be announced and celebrated.

They will be announcing the full line up in the next week or so but we have some great music guests- legendary musicians, label bosses, great writers discussing all aspects of music and writing as well as John Robb’s music quiz, films, readings, in conversation panels and loads of other stuff. There will also be ‘a legendary guitar player’ and the cream of music writers.
